yourself back in time to 1882, when the Tishbi's family romance with grapes and wine began.
This experience will heighten your senses and make the story come alive.
And it was said "If you don't enjoy your work, all your efforts will be fruitless". The Tishbi family possess a love of the soil, its cultivation and the growing of wine grapes, from which they lovingly create their wine.
This is indeed a love story - a love story between a man and his soil - a man and his vocation. A 120 year-old love story about its family, its vineyards and its wine.
Each glass of Tishbi wine is a story waiting to be told. You will soon realise that you are drinking in the very essence of Eretz Yisrael where the grapes are grown, harvested and bottled.
Tishbi have five centuries of experience in the cultivation of grapes according to organic farming ideology. Their vineyards cover 62 acres spreading from the slopes of the Carmel mountains to only a few kilometeres from the Mediterranean coastline.
At Tishbi's, they prefer hand picking of the grapes, as they believe it results in a higher quality wine. This is due to the fact that hand picking involves cutting the entire grape bunch, including the stems from the vine and transporting the intact bunches to the winery. This prevents the fermentation process from beginning on the way from the vineyard to the winery.
Tishbi wines have excelled in major wine competions and have received listings in many of the world's most famous restaurants.
The UK has now joined the list of many countries including Australia, South Africa, France, Spain, Brazil and China that are now importing Tishbi wine.
